El Fuerte 1 EX Back Run w/ 4 armor hits

edit: In this video you will see how fuerte can absorb 4 hits on one ex back run. the way to do this is by timeing your EX back run to the point that in a occasion of 2 ex fireballs coming at you, you absorb 1 hit of the first fireball and as you hit the wall elfuerte does a turn around automaticly and in this animation you absorb the 2nd hit of the first fireball. After this if you absorbed your 2nd hit properly as in the video you will have another 2 hit armor with fuerte as he runs to the opponent. now to use to this to punish your opponent is not a good idea as discussed on SRK. but i think this is a great way to build ultra bar on someone with full EX stock and is going EX fireball happy. i have tested on a 4 hit ex run you will gain 3/4 of your ultra bar this is to the point that you will have a ultra not maxing it out. as i played with this i had moments where i would only get 3 hit ex runs. which is what helped me under stand how this works. its all about absorbing a hit on the animation of fuerte turning around off a wall. if you do not absorb a hit at this point you will not reset the ex run armor. so if you get 3 hits its due to you takeing your first hit on a ex fireball right on the turn around animation. then your 2nd hit from the first fireball will hit your reset ex run armor. then at the 2nd fireball you will absorb the first hit and get hit by the 2nd hit. i hope i explained this right lol i really suck at explaining these type of things. i ran into this

@nightspawn87 That probably would have had it almost to the point of activation….it takes half of your health to get the ultra active…. The absorbed damage was nearing half health

This happened to me when I was lariating through survival/time attack once. ELF ran back, I hit him twice, then he hit the wall, and I he absorbed a total of 3 hits. IIRC.

Useful when in the corner as an option to absorb a ton of damage and escape

I question how useful this actually is. I doubt your opponent would throw that second fireball in that situation. At least not after the first time. If your opponent knows about it you can try to use it to set up a mixup, but you risk a lot by doing so.

nice find. i wish you would have left the ultra meter empty though before you recorded this. i say this only so that, the people who watch this can see hiow much the meter fills up after taking sagat’s attack.

Thanks for this! Credit to you! I thought I was doing something totally different, Armor Canceling. Every other armored move in the game can be canceled, and the Run can definitely be canceled. I guess it’s back to the drawing board on Run xx Run.
